Dreams Don't Come True

		At daybrake tomorrow

		I could rise and
		        greet

		    the new sun

		       smile on
		     a my
		with face
		 and heart
		     a my
		        song in
                          and
			  the
			 world
			   on
			   a
			 string

But dreams don't come true now

		and isn't on side
		    luck always your

		some will furious
		     fates be

		success often s p u r i o u s

		and
		    summer
			   follows
				   spring

		One spring brought a lover;

		she could make me
			  feel

		    like someone

		who
		     could anything
			   do
			   be
		     could done at all
		that

		I guess I missed a cue.

		Maybe this spring another

		will me fill with
		     love    and      me      pride;

		set me up for a
				fal
				   l,
		hook,
			      line,
		      sinker,
			      and all,

			but
		       dreams
		       don't
			come
			true.
