As a gift to my then-girlfriend, we took a trip to Disneyland because she had never been there. I wanted to make sure she never forgot it so I worked up a clever plan. I had a special set of Minnie ears made for her and another secret gift. We boarded the Skyway from Tomorrowland minutes before the fireworks. About halfway through the ride with the fireworks providing a romantic backdrop, I gave her the hat. As she took the hat out, she saw her special message on the back, which said "Marry Me?" At that time I got down on my knee and produced her other surprise, an engagement ring. As I popped the question she began to cry, but was still able to say "Yes". Upon exiting the ride in Fantasyland, she bounded from the basket to each of the ride operators screaming and showing her ring and hat, to which we received some warm applause. We have now been married for over two years and have one son, who is anxiously awaiting his second trip to Disneyland in a couple weeks. But our best memory will be that of our ride on the Skyway(blue bucket, #29)
