Wendie Colter at Jack's Sugar Shack

Hollywood - February 18, 2000

[John's Local Band Pix] [Wendie Colter's Home Page]

They were filming this concert for a web site called www.popcast.com. I'm not sure if it's up yet or not, but you should eventually be able to view video of the show directly over the web. Because they were filming, they lit the stage at Jack's much brighter than usual, which meant my camera focused easily, so many of these pictures came out very nice.

Wendie, Tom and Rich played a short but awesome set. They got one song chopped off of their planned set, which was to be a song by Josh Clayton, who recently died of cancer. I would have liked to have heard that, as I'm sure it would have been as moving as the song Marvin Etzioni dedicated to Josh in his set. I though Peephole Queen stood out in Wendie's set, in addition to the usual hits.
