Texas Terri and the stiff ones played an awesome sonic barrage
that really drove the audience into a frenzy. I've heard Terri
referred to as a sort of female Iggy Pop, and that's a pretty
reasonable comparison. It's kind of incongruous to see Terri
up on the stage screaming "I'm a man!", while displaying ample
evidence to the contrary, but this chick rocks as hard as any guy.
Before her set, Terri got up on stage and told the audience that one of the Whiskey's employees (and a friend of hers) named Jimmy got beat up so bad he was put in the hospital. For their sake, I hope the cops catch the culprits before Terri does, cause she seemed mad enough to whup them soundly. Jimmy - get well soon. Enjoy the pix - |
