And lo a new drummer did appear unto the sparkle*jets, and his name was Joel. And it was good. And so they retireth to the Riverbottom for some quite moments of meditation and reflection and some raucous moments of merrymaking and rolling and rocking. Mike & Jamie played their first of three sets of the night (four for Mike if you count hair-cuttee). When the Popdudes played, I tried to convince Mike to play bass & Jamie guitar, so the audience would be fooled into thinking it was a different band. They didn't go for it. Enjoy the pix -
