Sparkle*Jets U.K. at Luna Park

I arrived at Luna Park just in time to see the Sparkle*Jets U.K. (yay!). Their drummer quit last week, so they had Robbie Rist filling in on drums for them, thus extending his quest to play with every pop band in LA.Besides the posts in the middle of the stage, Luna Park has a couple of other oddities going on. They have a smoke machine, and they also show movies on a screen behind the band. The problem with that is that they gel the lights on the band very dark colors so they won't interfere much with the movie (which in this case was a series of psychedlic graphics like you might see at a Moody Chews concert or something). Thus it's tricky to get good focus &/or color balance on the band members. For this show, I turned that into a benfit by shooting some animations that came out REALLY cool.
