The Sparkle*Jets played an early (7:30) Friday set at Chain Reaction, but even so, several of their LA fans braved the rush hour traffic to come down and dig their set (personally, I just went for the free candy :-). Other than the 10 or 12 of us, the place was packed with mostly high school aged kids, and they seemed to dig the Sparkle*Jets set as much as we did.As I was working my way through the crowd to the exit, it occurred to me that pretty much everyone over 21 in the crowd was leaving. I could just imagine the kids thinking, "Oh good, all the old fogies are leaving. Now we can get down in front." :-) I was using my new flash for the first time, so the lighting on some of the pictures is kinda weird (read "bad"), but some of them came out really nice.
