Softcore actually played two sets at Dragonfly. First they opened the show with a short set at 9 (see below), then they closed it with a longer set at 1. Between the sets, I went to see Kristian Hoffman at the Derby. While I was there, Nelson Bragg was ribbing me about shooting Softcore 4 times in two weeks in June. I told him he should check them out in person at the 1:00 show. :-) Seriously, if you haven't seen this band, don't miss `em the next time they come to town.For the early set, the sound/lighting guy went light on the smoke, so a larger than normal percent of pictures came out in focus. The bad side is that you lose the random really interesting image that smoke & lots of good lights can bring. Enjoy the pix - |
