Sisters Grimm at The Garage

When I arrived it was pretty empty at The Garage. Lisafer was
setting up on stage, and Sisters Grimm were there, and the bartender
and one other person. Most of Lisafer's set was played for the five
or six of us, but then right near the end of their set a bunch more
people showed up, so there was a reasonable crowd when the Sisters
Grimm took the stage. Marissa, Victoria, & Tim gave us that injection
of rock we were waiting for.
I was assuming on the pages for the previous SG gigs I've seen that they were still living in New York, and that they were out on a tour or something. When I kept seeing their gigs listed in the Weekly, I got suspicious, so I asked them at this gig whether they had moved to LA, and they confirmed my suspicion. So now you should get lots of chances to check out their gigs (next up is January 18th at Goldfingers - be there!). I also confirmed what I had read somewhere, that they have a CD all but made (they're just waiting for the artwork). Enjoy the pix - |
