Nipper & the Seaturtles at Poptopia

I hadn't seen Nipper and the Seaturtles before, but I had seen the other band Nipper's in (Spookie Pie) several times, and they're sorta dark garage surf rock. So I was a little surprised when Nipper came out and played straight-up pop. The Seaturtles had the Jack's crowd boppin' at the bottom of the ocean, replete with stuffed turtle-sportin' background singers. Nipper was also the only band at Poptopia to provide a libretto to her show, in case you wanted to know all the lyrics to Daddy's got Tits and other hits :-).
I noticed that "Ike and Tina Turtle" resemble Willy Banta and Phyllis Teen from Spookie Pie. Coincidence?
Do Nipper and the Seaturtles have a CD in the works? I don't really know, but it's a crime if they don't.
