Majestic is a band with six guys and they all sing. Lush multi-part harmonies over catchy pop-hooks. They opened their set with a little a-capella hook. At the time I was toward the back of the room and my head spun around so quick it nearly snapped off. Very nice stuff.At one point, they announced that they'll be playing at 14 Below on the 12th with The Sugarplastic... and Baby Lemonade... (and half the crowd filled in AND THE NEGRO PROBLEM :-) I'm sure this whole Spaceland crowd was aware of that particular gig, but now they have a reason to either show up earlier or stay longer. |
