The Piper Downs backstage at the House of Blues

The backstage at HOB is actually upstairs on the third floor. Before the show, the Piper Downs were palpably excited to be playing this venue. The house was packed downstairs and the PDs knew most of crowd were here to see them. If it was me, I'd have been a little nervous, but the band seemed totally relaxed, ready to rock out with their cocks out (as Bobby would say). I snapped a few pictures of the band and their girlfriends and Will O'Brien (who acted as guitar-boy for the night, keeping Bobby & Garner in freshly tuned guitars for the show) and Bobby's dad (Frank Bognar) who flew out from Virginia for the show. Yell's parents were there for the show as well, though I didn't run into them, so I didn't get a shot of Yell and his folks. Jason was downstairs schmoozing, so Mike (their new drummer, I believe this was Jason's last gig as a PD) posed with them for the group shots.
