Moris Tepper at The Gig

Moris Tepper's one of those artists whose music doesn't sound quite like anyone else. I like that in a band, though it's often a curse in dealing with music companies who only want you if you sound just like the band that went platinum last month. His style is mostly rock based, though there are elements of other stuff in there as well. I'm sure I'll able to describe it better after I've seen him a couple more times. The song I remember most was a gimmick song called 8 Ball where he had a talking "magic 8-ball" and he would ask it questions as the verses to the songs and have the 8-ball answer them. He asked if he'd go to hell for all the things he'd done and on this night the 8-ball responded, "It's a definite possibility." Check him out.
