The Masticators mixed so loud that it was difficult to hear Lisa's vocals. I was tryin' to take pictures, but my band mates kept naggin' me to go get my microphone for Lisa to use. I went and got it, but I was reluctant to interrupt the show to try and talk her into changing mics, so I just let it go. Next time I open for `em, I'll offer it to her beFORE they start their set, so she can try it out if she wants. I don't know, maybe it's because I'm more used to seeing rock bands in small clubs, or maybe cuz I know the words to the Masticators songs, but I thought the mix sounded fine.
