The Sparklejets ended, then Kickstand came on and kept the good
times rollin'. I talked to Ken after the set and he was unhappy
with how they played, but the band is always more critical of
themselves than the audience (I know I always magnify every
glitch I make when the Liberal Materialists play), who in this
case seemed to have enjoyed the set quite thoroughly.
You can catch Kickstand again at Poptopia on February 6, back at Jack's Sugar Shack. I'll be there, and if you're not, then you're in the wrong damn Shack, Jack. :-) Enjoy the pix - |

I caught Robbie and Lisa in a candid tender moment after the gig. Ok, not really, they posed for it, but I didn't have to twist their arms too hard. :-) Then I pointed out the Capitol Records building behind them, so they paid their respects. | |
