John Perry at the Sierra Buttes

Ok, so I didn't really play a concert there. I just thought it looked like a pretty cool place to shoot a picture of myself brandishing a guitar. Since I brought my trusty Tele with me on vacation, I strapped on the tripod and got the shot. Got some strange looks from people walking/driving/riding their bikes by, but what the hey. I climbed to the top later in the day, and I wish I would have dragged my guitar along for a second shot on the top.

Oh sure, you say "what a dufus" now, but soon you'll be thinkin', "Hey, that did look like a pretty cool setting for a gig." Soon you won't be able to walk the streets of Sierra City for all the rock bands setting up their gear and photo equiptment. Then I will be recognized for the true visionary that I am.
