The Continental was packed for this show. I got there late & only caught the last two songs of the `canes first set. Fortunately, they played a second set, and that's where I shot all of these pictures. During the set, a friend of theirs (Gary) got up and did a beat poetry reading which led into a proposal to his girlfriend (Erin). It was sweet. Then Joachim El Pueblo de Nuestra Senora la Reina El Cuarto de Bano de Porciuncula and Sammy Tonic gave them their special Busstop Hurricane blessings. The bar right in front of the stage made for some nice bar walking by Twisty L'emmons and some bar dancing by a sucker^H^H^H^H^H volunteer. :-)Enjoy the pix - |
