Firebug are a funky band transplanted out of Chicago to LA. The feel I get is somewhere between The Spin Doctors, Black Crowes, and Rage Against the Machine. They've got the sort of rock-funk-groove feel of the first two bands, but with more of a sing-speak lead vocal feel from their high energy lead vocalist, Juliette. They've got a gig coming up with the Fireants, and between them, they'll be lucky if they don't burn the club down. :-)
