Ferdinand was sporting a new drummer, Josh, and played a spirited
set. They started out with just Chris and Greg on guitar, but then
Dave joined them later to beef it back up to the 3 guitar attack
they've used in their last couple of gigs.
At one point, Greg asked if anyone had any requests, and then kinda dismissed the idea, as there were probably only a couple of people in the audience who knew any of their songs by name (c'mon, get a CD out already :-). As it happens, he then went into the song of theirs I like best. I don't remember the name, but it starts off with a date (like January 4, 1997 or something like that). The first set of pictures were taken with my new video cam (which also does pictures, so I had to try it out). The color reproduction by the TRV-900 is extremely accurate, what you're seeing in those pictures is pretty much the exact color the artists were lit to. On the negative side, the resolution is limited to 640x480. The other pix are taken with my usual Coolpix 950, so they're much bigger, and the focus is slightly better on the flash shots. I prefer the Coolpix, but it's good to know I have a backup still camera if I ever need to send the Coolpix in for repairs or something. :-) Enjoy the pix - |
