Even Rude at Pinot

Even Rude are the only LA band I know of that are regulated by air traffic
control. Seriously, these guys spend more time in the air than any band
I've ever seen. I asked them about it after their set and they said they're
striving to be LA's highest band.
Their music seems to be influenced by Sublime, with perhaps a touch of Funkadelic thrown in, and a bit more hard rock sound at times. They played a lively set at Pinot, drawing in a rapt audience, including most of the members of the other bands. I totally dug it, as did the other people I spoke to. My one regret is that I didn't take an animation shot of them jumping around on stage. Fortuntately, I did catch them airborne a couple of times, especially Cake.
