I hate the posts in the middle of the stage at the upstairs
room at Luna Park. I spend half the show missing shots of
Norm going airborne. I finally get a shot framed where I
know he's about to jump. I've got the shutter half-pressed,
so it's focus locked on him. He jumps. I shoot. I get
a big green post with two shoes sticking out the back.
Bat Country gave a moon-shot performance at Luna Park. They played Miss Effervescent again, and even credited this humble photographer with nagging them into playing it. :-) I thought Heavy Lids really played well at this show, and every time they stopped for 10 seconds between songs someone or another requested Bad Penny Blues. They weren't disappointed, as Bat Country closed with it. I'm not sure if it's always been there, but Norm did a little rap segment partly lifted from Fight the Power as part of it. Did I mention I hate the posts in the middle of the stage at the upstairs room at Luna Park. Well I hate `em. :-) |
