Every time I see this band, they get better, and I told `em so. Bobby Bogner rewrote their set list while they were onstage, and they good naturedly played his request (after consulting the audience of course). I don't have Bobby's pull (or the gumption to rewrite their set list), but after the show, I put in my pitch to get them to play Miss Effervescent at some future BC show. Unfortunately, this was their last show of the millenium, as they're going to focus on finishing up their CD to start the new century with a new album! I, for one, can't wait. |
