Sunday at Pinot, Bob Anderson was giving me flack for not having the
pictures up yet. Here they are Bob. And might I point out a subtlety
that you might have missed about who they positioned where on the stage.
Consider the images Bill&Derrick12.jpg and Bob37.jpg. I think the sign
says it all. (nice cowboy hat, though)
The Andersons played a stellar set of great music and politically incorrect diatribe, as usual. They played most of my favorites from Separated at Birth, but I'm really starting to groove on some of their newer songs like It's Killing Me To Need You The Way That I Do (Uh Huh, Uh Huh) (I have no idea how much of that is the title, but that's the hook). I also like Bob's new song; the ending ("...please just let me apologize to you.") reminds me of the end of Bat Out Of Hell by Meatloaf ("And like a sinner before the gates of Heaven I come crawling back to you.") Start asking for copies of the Andersons upcoming CD at your local record store (I think it's tentatively called Family Reunion). Tell them all your friends are dying to get it and they'll all go to Arons unless that store pre-orders 50 copies. |
