This was like Candy Pants lite, with only Lisa on vocals and various instruments (melodica, flute, coconuts) and George on guitar. I wish Candy Pants would play more often, as they have very fun music. I'd have to say I Want a Pony was the most popular song of their set, but I dug Monkey Boy a lot as well. Last time I was at Highland Grounds, the Julies played Dog Boy, so I'm eagerly anticipating what animal-boy song someone will do the next time I'm there.Enjoy the pix - |
