The Lighthouse is right by the pier in Redondo Beach, so of course there
were a lot of people down there, even on a Thursday night. The Teacher
opened, and at the time it sounded like there were bands playing at one or
two of the other places down there, so the crowd was pretty sparse until
a few minutes before the show. As usual, however, once it became clear that
3GT was about to play, an audience magically appeared and continued to grow
throughout the set. Near the middle of the set, I had to climb over some
people to get behind Josh for some shots (tippy-tippy-TAH!), so it filled
up pretty good.
I think the set 3GT played was mostly stuff from the CDs, plus What's Going On and Rage-A-Holic, but none of the new-new stuff. Since they've started recording 3 now, I guess we'll start hearing more of the new stuff in their lineup over the next month or so (or maybe not, what do I know :-). Enjoy the pix - |
