April 12 was a night of tough choices. There was a Paul McCartney tribute
show with The Negro Problem and the Wondermints and Wendie Colter and a
bunch of other great bands. The Baked Potato was sporting a great triple
threat of Martin Luther Lennon, Grab Bag, and Dragster Barbie that I was
planning on going to. But then during the day, I was listening to Greatest
Hits at work, and I got a hankerin' to see Ow Ow Ow live. Fortunately,
Sabrina put my mind at ease by telling me it was on their set list.
This was a very good show for the Teacher. They played one new song that fully rules! It sounds a little bit like an extremely slowed down version of the chorus of Schoolboy, with a slowly arpeggiated guitar riff. I think there were a lot of people who hadn't seen 3GT before at the gig, and they certainly were enthusiastic. I was really pleased with how the pictures came out. the big tie-die thing on the wall made an excellent background for some of them. Enjoy - |
