When I first saw this gig on their schedule, I thought, Huh? 3GT at a Coffee House? I've seen them do an unplugged mellow set before, but not billed as Third Grade Teacher. It's not like you can do Monster or Rage-A-Holic on an acoustic guitar. When I actually arrived and saw Sacred Grounds, it made much more sense. It's a large coffee house with a large stage and reasonably good sound reinforcement that equals some of the better nightclubs. And for this gig, the house was packed. The Teacher pulled out Cinnamon for this show; I hadn't seen them play that in a while. Of course, I hadn't seen 3GT play in almost 3 weeks so I hadn't seen them play anything in a while. :-) I also hadn't been to a concert in about a week and a half, and I forgot to freshen up the charge on my batteries (NiMH's lose charge pretty quickly), so I had to change batteries 4 times!
