Third Grade Teacher at The Gypsy Lounge

Fortunately, there's another good high energy drummer (Josh) on the scene that's happy to pick up the sticks, so school is still in session. Josh is learning their material, but with all the gigs they have coming up, he should be a seasoned schoolboy in no time.

There was a big crowd at the Gypsy Lounge. During the band that played before 3GT, many of them were hanging out talking at the bar or playing pool. During 3GT's set, I went to the back of the room once to get something out of my camera bag, and everyone had left the pool tables. No-one was gabbing at the bar. Everyone was raptly watching the Teacher play their set.

The one negative thing about the show was that Sabrina's mike went out. They swapped it for another one, which went out as well, but eventually they got one working. I really respect the fact that Sabrina doesn't throw a tantrum and throw the mike on the floor when something like this happens, like some singers do. Even if she is a Rage-a-holic, she doesn't abuse the equiptment that other bands might have to use as well. Props to her for that.
