I. 3GT + red light + John taking no-flash pix = some very weird shots
The Teazer offered a mixed bag of a venue, with posts blocking three fourths of the crowd's line of sight to some large fraction of the stage. I got there early and got down in front, so I had a good view of the whole stage, but when I tried to wander back for some wider angle shots, I could see that most of the crowd had to choose between not seeing Laura, not seeing Dave, or not seeing Sabrina. They had a lot of lights, but they were all gelled in red, so the stage was hyper-saturated in red. It made some of my non-flash shots come out spacey looking.

II. 3gt + great crowd interaction + good sound = awesome show
There was a large crowd for the show, and they really got into the Teacher. That positive feedback loop pushed the level of performance up that extra notch to make this one of those ultra-wild 3GT gigs. The fact that it wasn't in one of their home venues (Al's, Mr. T's, Spaceland), made it extra special. I'm prayin' for a speedy recovery by Art, so the teacher can hold class again soon.
