As this was a day gig, I knew I'd get some very different shots, but
there were a couple of things I didn't anticipate. First of all, I set
it to no flash, since it was daylight. The only problem is it uses a
slower shutter speed when you do this, so I got a few blurry shots. Also,
with that much light there's much more detail in each photo, which means
they don't jpeg compress well. Thus the set of pictures here are huge. The
whole set are a whopping 25 MB and I haven't even uploaded the animations
(of which I shot many :-). I'll probably reduce the images for this gig
sooner than usual to make them more reasonable. So if you wants the huge
images, get em soon, cuz they'll be gone some time mid-next week.
The crowd really seemed to like 3GT. In front of the stage was a big grassy area, and it was pretty muddy, so almost nobody ventured out there to watch the band, but there was a sizeable crowd at the tables and benches surrounding the grassy area. I, of course, took my shots from the grassy knoll. My only other comment here is that there was a big glass wall behind the band, so I shot a couple of pictures from Art's perspective.
